Here’s a listing of the Top 10 Halloween Costumes for dogs, plus highlights of the most popular dog costumes…
Top Dog Costumes
According to Yahoo! Buzz, here’s how people dressed their pets this year for Halloween:
#1. Yoda Dog Costume
#10. Pimp Dog Costume
In a separate survey, it was determined that Yoda Dog and the Cat From Hell were the most popular Halloween costumes for pets in this year.
Which dog costumes were popular last year?
According to United Press International:
An American Kennel Club survey found that one in 10 now get costumes for their pets, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. This year’s top sellers appear to be Star Wars costumes, which are available in pet versions for the first time. Shari Maxwell of Annie’s Costumes said the top three are Yoda Dog, Darth Vader Dog and Princess Leia Dog. They are followed by Superdog, Batdog and Wonder Woman Dog. While cat costumes are understandably less popular than those for dogs — given that felines have less tolerance for human eccentricities — Pirate Cat ranks in 7th place and Queen Cat is 10th. Wedding and fairy princess costumes are reliable year-round dog outfits.
