New Toy Alert: Kong Squeaker
According to a survey I was sent from the Kong Company, it appears that they will soon be coming out with a brand new Kong toy called the Kong Squeaker!
Cool! I'm sure my dog (and others) will love it! By the sound of things, they're still toying with the idea of whether or not it will be able to be filled with goodies or not. (I hope so!... That's what makes a Kong a Kong to me...)
Kong's Approach To Dog Toys
I have to say, I've been quite impressed with the Kong Company and their introduction of new dog toys over the past few years.It seems they're always looking for another way to better their product and add yet another version of the classic Kong that will appeal to a different type or size or personality type of dog.
For example, they recently introduced the Senior Kong (...it's purple and white swirl in color.) And before that it was the Kong Water Wubba.
We have a few different "versions" of the Kong in our house:
- the classic red Kong
- one blue one
- one black Kong ("for extreme chewers")
- the tennis ball covered round ring that floats
- the tennis ball covered stick that floats
- the Kong bone for a change of pace
Our dog loves them all. We actually save the tennis ball ones for "special times" -- like when we're at the lake or in a pool. It's like they're brand new toys to him each time!
