Jessica Simpson And Her Dog, 'Daisy'

jessica-simpson-dog.jpg For all you Jessica Simpson fans...

It appears that Jessica is also quite a fan of dogs.

Especially of the tiny, furry, perfectly cute variety!

Jessica Simpson's highly publicized dog is "Daisy".

Jessica's adorable little puppy, Daisy, is a Maltipoo.

She's part Maltese and part Toy Poodle.

(It's kinda funny how Jessica went from Daisy Dog to Daisy Dukes, huh?...)

well, seeing as I have 3 dogs, from all different backgrounds, I know quite a bit about the attitude dogs can have ....one of which is a product of a puppy mill, I am offended by anyone who would choose to harm an animal in that way. She has her issues of abandonment. The second of which is a rescue from paws. She is an adorable dalmatian, who was abused by her previous owners, and for the 11 years I have had her, she has never once, harmed a person. She is actually the most loyal pup I've ever had.
And my third and final pup, (hopefully!) is a rescue from a neglecting owner. She is a german shepherd/black lab mix. I LOVE THIS PUP! I've had her for almost 4 years now, and she is the sweetest dog ever.
I would much rather RESCUE a pup that's already here, than go through a breeder to get a pup. PLUS, the satisfaction is much greater, to know that you are actually helping a dog in need. Wouldn't that just make your day?

Michelle I'm going to have to disagree with you. My parents own a pet store and we ONLY get our dogs from legitimate breeders who we have a long-standing relationship. We travel to them to get the puppies....NOT puppy mills and I'm annoyed that you lump all pet stores in the same category. We have a beautiful Maltipoo-Havanese who is very smart and absolutely adorable. I'm sorry to tell you but I would never go to a shelter for the reason you give. People dump dogs they can't take care of or dogs that have been abused and mistreated. You cannot trust the temperment of any of these dogs and I certainly wouldn't trust them around my children. They snap and can turn on you in an instant. If you had watched Nick and Jessica, you would have seen the episode where she picks out Daisy....from a breeder, not a puppy mill.

Jessica's dog is basicly a mutt.My mother does rescue and these dogs end up here after the "fad" is over these dogs come from horrible places kept in wire cages never given a name just so YOU can buy their puppies.Go to shelters to get a dog,not pet stores dogs come from puppymills
