Many of you know that I've been honing my skills in the kitchen lately, and experimenting with a lot of new recipes -- including Rachel Ray's.
Well, it turns out she has quite a collection of dog-friendly recipes, too!
I haven't tried any of them myself yet, but I have to say... I think my dog would be quite pudgy if I served up all of the delicious treats that Rachel Ray lists in her Pet Archives.
According to a survey I was sent from the Kong Company, it appears that they will soon be coming out with a brand new Kong toy called the Kong Squeaker!

Cool! I'm sure my dog (and others) will love it! By the sound of things, they're still toying with the idea of whether or not it will be able to be filled with goodies or not. (I hope so!... That's what makes a Kong a Kong to me...)
I don't know about where you live...
But around here, I can pretty much find Kongs in stores everywhere I look... but I can't find them for under $9.99!
It seems that $9.99 is the going rate in stores these days for a regular-sized Red Kong toy.
Good news!
I found some great low prices on Kongs from reputable pet stores on the Internet...
There's no doubt about it, our dogs have gotten years of enjoyment out of Kong toys (...we currently own 16 of 'em).
And we, in return, have gotten a lot of peace (and quiet) and content dogs -- thanks to Kongs!
Since I talk so much about Kongs here on this website... and how much my dogs have enjoyed Kong toys all through the years... and how much of a lifesaver those one-of-a-kind dog cones are...
I thought I'd share the Kong Company's letter to dog owners regarding Kong treats and the recent pet food scare.
It's no secret that I love Kong toys.
I also highly recommend the Kong Company newsletter, and I would encourage you to subscribe to their FREE Kong newsletter, too.
I did. Each time it comes out (only 3 times a year), I find so much great info inside!
Here's what it's like...
If you decide to kennel train an adult (never-before-trained-in-a-crate) dog you'll certainly have to live through your own series of mini-crises like we did. Only yours will be based on your dog's own personality and overall adaptability.
Here's how we survived the whole crate-training ordeal with Destin (pictured here on the right). Our other dog, Tenor (on left), was crate-trained from Day One, so it was never an issue for him.
Kong toys are all the rage (we own 16 of them... 2 dogs!). And dogs can have hours of fun trying to get the good stuff out of their Kong toys.
But cleaning them isn't quite so fun.
Here's what I do... works like a charm for me!
You already found some interesting things to stuff inside your dog's Kong chew toy.
Now, you're wondering exactly how other people stuff Kongs.
Here are some great tips for stuffing Kong toys...
