Here's how we taught our dog to sing...

Proof that dogs have humans wrapped around their little finger paw...

Welcome puppies. You are about to embark upon the most important phase in your life and that is proper education. Our major principle out here is to teach you to be an individual, to teach you how not to bow down to the human, teach you how to make life miserable for the humans in short do everything possible to embarrass and humiliate the humans. One day you are going to go out in this world and maybe adopt a human being and if you are lucky HE will behave the way you want to, if not the old adage comes true "it's a dog's life".

If you decide to kennel train an adult (never-before-trained-in-a-crate) dog you'll certainly have to live through your own series of mini-crises like we did. Only yours will be based on your dog's own personality and overall adaptability.

Here's how we survived the whole crate-training ordeal with Destin (pictured here on the right). Our other dog, Tenor (on left), was crate-trained from Day One, so it was never an issue for him.

We use "Tell me" whenever we want our dog to get our attention about something.

This is helpful when getting your dog used to the idea that he must "tell you" when he needs to go outside. (Before our dogs go out they must tell us, then they have to sit patiently by the back door before we'll open it and let them outside.)

Or, if he wants to tell you there's a stranger nearby. (Or in our case, the mail has arrived.)

Or, so he can tell you when he's hungry. (Yep, our dogs do this - once a day, like clockwork.)

These are quite funny, actually...

Just like "real" dogs, these toy dogs love to be at your side and they get more and more "excited" the more you play with them.

To top it all off... This dog likes to give wet kisses! And, when puppy gets excited (whenever you pet its head or belly), its tail wags faster and it barks louder.

Plus, the Love 'n Licks dog kicks its hind leg!
