I recently got one of these pillows. To me, it says everything I've thought for years about dogs... you've gotta love 'em, fur and all!
No outfit is complete without dog hair!
I always worry whenever friends or relatives come over, because I realize they're probably not as accepting of dog fur as we are around here. I mean, I keep a clean house and everything, but when you've got dogs, it's just something you learn to live with -- day in and day out.
Dog hair just has a way of showing up in the strangest places!
Our dog, Tenor, has such a thick and luscious coat of fur. (He's part Black Lab, part Great Pyrenees, but he mostly just looks like your average Labrador Retriever.)
His skin and coat weren't always in such great shape, though. In fact, a few months ago he had dry, flaky, itchy skin so bad that we thought he had an incurable skin disease!
Here's what the vet recommended. And it worked like a charm!
These are absolutely the cutest!
I wish they had one featuring Labrador Retrievers or some of the bigger dogs, but small dog lovers are going to swoop these up in a heartbeat... especially this Bichon Frise one.
These unique house flags feature a number of different dog breeds. And, they're actually available for many different seasonal holidays.
Fun, fun, FUN!
Looking for a dog rescue facility? Thousands of dog-lovers are!
Here are the top 30 dogs in need of rescue...
Together, Jim and I have had 3 dogs.
First, there was Jersey, who was "my dog" first but welcomed Jim into our lives with open arms. Then came Destin, the dog we found under a dumpster. And then, Destin's "brother from another mother", Tenor. There was actually a point in time where we had all three under one roof at the same time. But now there's only Tenor.
Our buddy Destin recently went to chase rainbows in the sky and to play with Jersey in fields that are forever green.
Our dog is part Black Lab and part Golden Retriever -- at least that's our vet's best guess.
We found him as a tiny pup, so it's difficult to know for sure. But he definitely has the looks, personality, and behavioral characteristics of both -- a Labrador Retriever and a Golden Retriever, combined.
He also has two black spots on his tongue.
We immediately asked or vet if that meant he was part Chow, and she said definitely not.
Further research has confirmed this for us. Here's what we've learned about black spots on a dog's tongue...
Cute puppies lend themselves to some really cute puppy photos.
