With the holidays and winter months fast approaching, you will want to make sure that your dog is safe and protected.

- Keeping Small Dogs Warm - You may have to go to extra lengths to keep your dog warm this winter. Have your dog stay indoors and if he is a puppy or has short hair, and use a coat or a sweater whenever he goes outside.
- Outdoor Water - Use ceramic or plastic water bowls. A dog's tongue can stick or freeze to stainless steel bowls.
- Outdoor Shelter - If your dog has to stay outside for long periods of time, provide a elevated shelter for him to stay in and use thick & comfy bedding to help insulate him from the cold.
- Holiday Decorations & Plants - Remember many holiday decorations and holiday plants are dangerous to pets. Keep them out of the reach of your dog!
