You've probably seen commercials for The Goodlife Recipe on TV...
Today, August 20th, kicks off the Here's to The Goodlife pet video contest sponsored by The Goodlife Recipe brand food & treats for cats and dogs.
Here's an email I received from Abby on behalf of The Goodlife Recipe:
I've been following your blog ever since we started talking about The Goodlife Recipe products and treats back in January. I know you're always looking for the latest pet news and products (the Cleanup Bag Dispenser is great!), so I wanted to share information about a fun and exciting contest that's being launched this summer called the Here's to The Goodlife pet video contest (www.goodliferecipe.com). The contest is about sharing real moments like the hilarious doggie "boot scoot" clip (a close-competitor to the Stanley Steamer commercial)."
About The Video Contest
From The Goodlife website:Does your Persian paw at your face to wake you up each day? Maybe you and your Poodle play piano together to relax after work? The Here's to The Goodlife pet video contest celebrates relationships between people and pets through singing, dancing, playing or just enjoying life together. We're looking for special moments that show how well you and your cat or dog live life together. The way you do it is up to you, as long as the interaction makes you both happy."
How To Participate
Simply share a glimpse of your life together in a short video or photo montage that shows how you and your pet celebrate your special relationship.View a sample video.
Video entries demonstrating these real moments will be collected from August 20th through October 12th.
The videos will be featured online where everyone can view and vote for their favorites.
6 finalists will win an all-expenses paid trip to either LA or New York City this fall for a special event organized for the purpose of selecting the grand prize winner.
A "pet-loving celebrity" (LeAnn Rimes) will help select the winner.

One lucky pet and its owner will:
- be featured in a television commercial for The Goodlife Recipe commercial
- receive $10,000
- receive a year's supply of The Goodlife Recipe products
The first runner-up will:
