Have You Checked Your Dog’s Butt For Jesus Yet?

jesus-on-dog-butt.gif You’ve heard about the Mother Mary appearing in odd and unique places all across the world, right?

Yeah, the face of Jesus also appears in strange places, now and again too.

But who knew in this day & age that Jesus would actually appear on the behinds of dogs across the country???

I have to admit… I checked… tonight.

I hadn’t set out to do it. It just happened.

I read this yesterday, and I figured there was no way in the world that it could happen just once. I mean, why would Angus MacDougall, a 3-year-old terrier mix, be so lucky? (Or would that be “blessed”?)

I began to think: Dog butt fur probably always aligns itself in the form of Jesus Christ!

Well, I guess not.

Try as I might, I was not able to envision Jesus on my dog’s butt.

Perhaps 10 feet was too far away to get a clear picture of Jesus?

Well, I’m not sure. But I AM sure that I have no interest in getting a better angle. I also have no plans to try this again.

My luck, it’ll be like a bad song — where you hear a few lines & then the tune is firmly implanted in your brain for days — and now I won’t be able to get this story out of my mind.

I thought I saw Ozzy Osbourne there once, but not Jesus. What if every time I’m gazing in the distance at my dogs (when they’re looking out the window, or walking away) I keep feeling compelled to do a “quick check”.

One thing’s for sure…
You can bet that you will be the first to know… if Jesus has arisen… in the form of shapely dog fur… on my dog’s rear end.
