I found something of interest from “Breeds to Match Your Personality Type”. It says that Type A humans (impatient, stressed, driven types) usually do better with Type B dogs, and Type B humans (laid-back, easygoing types) usually do better with Type A dogs.
Of course, this begs the question, what Personality Type are you?
And what Personality Type is your dog?

How To Match Your Personality Type With Your Dog’s Personality Type

First, Find Your Personality Type
I like to take several different personality type tests at the same time — to see how similar the results are. In my case, the results from the following personality tests were all spot on.

- Psychology Dept. Personality Type Test — this one is structured more for college students, but you can easily apply the questions to your own life. (TIP: You don’t have to enter your name in the first box, you can just hit “cancel.”)
- Psychology Today Type A Personality Test — this one is much more thorough. You get an overview that shows on a scale of 1 to 100 how much of a Type A personality type you are.
- Very Well Type A Personality Test — this one is very short and easy to complete.
- Open Psychometrics Personality Test — this one is super short, yet the questions seemed most relevant and easy to answer. (TIP: After you submit your answers, you don’t have to “complete a survey after clicking continue” like it says. Your results immediately appear there at the top of the next page.)
