I would love some doggie whispering. I have a 14 year old dalmatian and think she is the best, but since losing her best bud, an English Springer Spainel, about 4 months ago, she barks at her dog walkers! She has always been protective of me, but has done pretty well with doggie day care givers. I hope this behavior will abate with time, but could use suggestions and help. Thank you. Grace Kim.

We could really use your help. We have a 7 year old Male Black Lab named Dega. In August we got a 6 month old Male Toy Pom. Since that time everytime we go to work the Lab destroys the house (tearing up anything within reach). They always get exercise time in the morning before my husband goes to work and I always come home at lunch to walk them and Dega only does the destruction in the morning not in the afternoon. They also get exercise time in the evening when we get home. He did not have this behavior before we acquired the Toy Pom. We feel like it might be some jealous feelings going on here but are not certain. We are about to pull our hair out. We live approximately 1 hour from Atlanta and would be willing to come to you when you are in Atlanta if you are willing to help us. We love him so very much and he is such a good dog. We just don't understand as he is always getting love and attention when we are around. Will you help him? Thank you for your valuable time.

Hi! Ryan and I have a different issue than I've seen on your show. We don't live too far from New York City, so I was hoping you'd be able to address this problem. Ryan has a pit named Lucky, 5 1/2, and I have a pit named Caesar, almost 4. Both are completely friendly towards people, and were totally friendly towards each other when Caesar was just a puppy. Once Caesar got older, they ended up scapping a couple times (Caesar wanting to be alpha?)--nothing totally major, but fights I (Tracie) couldn't break up myself. Ryan and I are currently living separately but pursuing a life together soon, and would love for the dogs to get along. As of right now, they can't have toys around each other and have to eat on separate sides of the room--they use both of these things to make each other jealous. They also seem to mark in the house whenever we leave. Can we find a way to be one happy family?? They're usually such great dogs! Thanks--we await your answer!

My 120 lb great pyrenees mix is so agressive that I can't seem to have a normal life with her. She is so possessive of me. When in the car, she nearly distroys the car to get at the man filling the tank with gas, or if anyone comes near the car she barks, growls, and tries to attack, scratching at the interiors and windows of the car (this is destroying my car). She is worse if I am in the car with her. I walk her twice a day, but have to find times that most other dogs are not out, as she attacks other dogs on or off leshes when walking her. She has knocked me down twice, and broke my finger, a bone fracture. She is bossy, trying to herd me to bed before I want to go, when to eat, when to walk, when to get up, when to go to bed. She does this with an irritating squeak, whine and demanding bark. She had a history of snipping a child once, so previous owners gave her up. She's a lot of dog to handle. I keep her on a short lesh when walking. This is helpful to keep her in some control, but her small head, short neck, and really big body allows her to easily back out of her collar when she is in the red zone. I purchased a harness for her but it doesn't give me control and it is causing skin irritants under her legs. It would be grand to take her to the park and play with other dogs, but very afraid she will tear up another dog. I've watched the Dog Whisper show and tried to do his methods. I am missing something somewhere. My husband tells me it's not that hard, yeah well he took her out twice for a walk, and he didn't fair much better when things weren't perfect. He blames me, claims we aren't on the same page, so it's my fault. My dog, my problem...HELP!

I know that you guys get a lot of messages sent to your board, but my family and I are in desperate need of your help. Our family dog (a Rottweiler ) has never been aggressive until recently. We later found out that some of the neighborhood kids had been hitting our dog from the gate. Our dog then went as far to attack my wife and would not stop coming after her. We really love our dog and we do not want to have to put him to sleep, but my wife does not even feel comfortable stepping foot in the back yard. We have gone to other trainers but they have told us that there is nothing that can be done. We were told that Rottweilers are not the type of dog that we can trust; however, I have seen Cesar work his magic and bring dogs back from impossible situations. If there is anyone that can help I know that Cesar can. Please help us out!!!

My other dog, Maxxy, wants to be friends with her... but she ends up attacking him and he gets bitten pretty bad. If there's anyway, could someone tell me what to do? We've tried everything. Also, another thing. Everytime someone comes in the door, knocks, or rings the doorbell, my dog Trey goes absolutely bolistic! Please help me, thank you!

I am at my wits end. Harlee is a 1 year old min Schnauzer and she is impossible. She won't listen, won't do commands, chases our cat.
Have taken her to school but she is afraid of the other dogs and really afraid of the people there, so she doesn't learn. I don't want to get rid of her, but I'm not sure what to try next. We have another
Schnauzer, Mazey, who learned and obeys and is a real sweetheart. Any tips would be most appreciated. Thanks Carolyn

We have two dogs which we rescured. Both dogs have a fear of separation. In a couple of days, we have to leave them for 3 weeks with our friend who always stayed at our house when we were away. Last time we left them for a couple of days, and when we came back, one of my dogs wasn't even excited to see us. He came to us, sniffed us and walked away. I've never seen anything like that. Even at home, if they are resting and see me walk away, they jump and follow me everywhere I go. They don't like closed doors, they are going crazy if they see us closing the doors. I am very nervous to leave them for a long time Can you, please, give us advise what we have to do so that separation wasn't that traumatic for them. Thank you very much

I have a four year old Beagle, cute and sweet as can be, but I just can't seem to revert her out of the "puppy" stage. Maggie, my dog, still has many accidents in the house, even in her own dog bed, she will steal anything she can, socks, hats, household items, anything she can get, etc. and chew them up....I'm just having an extremely hard time keeping up with her! I can't take my eyes off of her or she will get into something! She went through puppy training, but at four years old I am scared that she is set in her ways. I'm afraid that I don't know how to train her and if I go about this in the wrong way, she might get even worse. Please help!!!

I have a 5 month old Welsh Terrier named Flynn. When we got him, the breeder said he was paper trained. Partly. We started using "Puppy Pads" and he uses them about half the time. When we're home, my wife and I try and watch him for circling or sniffing and try and take him out to potty, but he gets distracted with leves, sticks, birds and the neighbors and will not go to the bathroom. When we try and get his attention, he will not respond. When we take him back into the house, he pees or poops on the carpets. We are constantly cleaning with the puppy spray. We don't want to punish him because we know he would not know why he's being punished, but we need to get him trained to show us he has to go potty outside instead of on the carpet. Please help us with any tips, techniques or training so he won't ruin the carpets. Thanks. Dave Thouin

I'm desparate. I have a 2 year old Papillon that is extremely timid and submissive. If i look at her wrong she pees, if she gets excited she pees in the house. It seems to be a ongoing problem that I have tried everything and I don't know what to do.
Help!!!! I need to know where I can get some answers

Cesar is looking for a FEW new cases...

First... read this information and follow the instructions CAREFULLY.

Then... follow these instructions to apply for the show.

They are likely to find the dogs they're looking for in a matter of days, so don't expect this offer to last very long. Good luck!

I have a pack of 4 dogs. My German Shepherd has been in several police and search and rescue training programs. HE IS BALL CRAZY AND DOES TRAINING COURSE WITH EXCITEMENT. PROBLEM IS, I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO GET HIM TO GO DOWN THE STAIRS TO MY BASEMENT. HE WILL DO ANY OTHER STAIRS, JUST NOT THE ONES AT HOME. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING I CAN THINK OF AND HE PANICS AND RUNS AWAY. THIS IS THE ONLY THING HE WILL NOT ATTEMPT. PROBLEM IS, WE HAVE TORNADOES IN THE SUMMER AND I FEEL HE SHOULD GO IN THE BASEMENT IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCE. I AM A VET TECH PART TIME AND ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER FULL TIME, AND WORK WITH MY DOGS "CEASERS WAY". BUT I CANT GET MY SHEPHERD DOWNSTAIRS. PLEASE HELP. I LIVE IN CHICAGO AREA AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHEN CEASER WILL BE HERE.THANK YOU. TERRY

Are you still looking for dogs in Atlanta? We have a samoyed/border collie mix, age 7, who has issues with food posession, fear aggression, separation anxiety, and lack of acceptance for our child (2.5 years old; dog preceded child.) We are most concerned with behavior and safety around our little girl, who loves the dog. The dog treats her like a puppy - disciplining her by growling, baring teeth, etc. - rather than an alpha-human - and has snapped at her before. Clearly this is a situation not to be ignored!! We think we understand WHY this is, but not WHAT to do for training. We would love to have Cesar share his insight and skill with us!

I have a white standard female poodle named callie. I just had some questions for Cesar because we watch your show and there are a couple of problems our dog has that hasnt been in the show. Callie gets into food and trash and will put it on my bed and chew it all up and eat all of the food. So we have had to put baby locks on our cabnet where our trash is and it helps a little but she will still go to other parts of the house like the bathroom and chew up trash. How could i prevent our dog from doing that. And she also has a problem with other dogs when they walk by outside or she is with them outside. Because lots of our neighbors have dogs and i would love to walk with them but callie just has a problem with other dogs getting close to me cause she is over protective. So what could i also do about that? thanks you very much!
