Dogs vs Cats: Funny Things About Cats & Dogs

Our two dogs... Jersey and Destin. In the spirit of pet blogging, I came across some funny stuff the other day about Dogs and Cats.

For starters, do you know how many dogs it takes to change a light bulb? What about how many cats?…

And what’s all this talk about tiny men & women in fur coats?

Following are even more funny comparisons between cats and dogs.

Enjoy!

I like to help people find unique ways to do things in order to save time & money -- so I frequently write about "outside the box" ideas that most wouldn't think of. As a lifelong dog owner, I often share my best tips for living with and training dogs. I worked in Higher Ed several years until switching gears to pursue things I was more passionate about. I've worked at a vet, in a photo lab, and at a zoo -- to name a few. I enjoy the outdoors via bicycle, motorcycle, Jeep, or RV. I agree its not fair for one animal to be kept up in the house or a fence but if a cat is running free and belong to someone than you cant blame the cat for killing the bird. Yes the cat may have done the actual killing but if the owner had paid more attention and kept the cat inside than the bird would have lived.

And as for cats being allowed to roam free, its not that society prefers cats over dogs or vise versa, but simply cats are quick little creatures and are hard to catch. BUT if a animal catcher DID catch a cat they would take him/her to the pound or animal shelter. Same thing with dogs. Dogs are easier to catch and so they get caught and put in a pound more than cats. Its NOT an “society prefers cats to dogs” thing. Its a cats are easier to catch and BOTH animals are the animals responsibility to keep inside and AWAY from wildlife.
